Heralding Education on Antimicrobial Resistance

MIC Test Strip (MTS) HEAR courses comprise an interactive two day session with lectures and laboratory work. An international faculty interacts with 20 participants from several Countries. HEAR allows for effective exchange of clinical experiences and expertise among clinicians, pharmacists and microbiologists with the patient's need utmost in mind. Liofilchem organizes several courses per year that cover a variety of topics with the goal of sharing the latest information to promote the rational use of antimicrobial agents.

To address some of the resistance, diagnostic and treatment challenges faced by infectious disease specialists, ICU clinicians, clinical pharmacists and microbiologists, Liofilchem has invested in non-profit HEAR courses dedicated to education in the field of Antimicrobial Resistance Testing.

New freeze-dried CultiControl™ microorganisms

Liofilchem® is glad to announce a range of freeze-dried microorganisms, available in two formats:
- CultiControl™, one vial containing five freeze-dried pellets of a single microorganism.
- Quanti-CultiControl™, one freeze-dried pellet and one rehydrating fluid, suitable for the Growth Promotion Test recommended by the international Pharmacopoeiae, without need of intermediate dilution steps. Each rehydrated suspension generates less than 100 UFC for 0.1 mL inoculum. Each suspension allows 19 inocula.

Our microorganisms derive from well known international collections, such as ATCC®, NCTC and others.
* The ATCC Licensed Derivative Emblem, the ATCC Licensed Derivative word mark and the ATCC catalog marks are trademarks of ATCC. Liofilchem® s.r.l. is licensed to use these trademarks and to sell products derived from ATCC® cultures.

The ATCC Licensed Derivative® program was created to ensure quality and address global responsibilities for handling biological materials. A royalty fee will be charged on behalf of ATCC® for products derived from ATCC® biological material. In order to receive these products, an authorized representative from your organization must agree to the terms of the End User Agreement. It is mandatory that your organization registers for this program before we are able to process your order for lyophilized microorganism preparations containing ATCC® biological material.
